Job Title: Marketing Manager
Responsible to: Executive Producer – Matt Brinkler
Line Managing: Marketing Assistant & Social Media Manager
Place of Work: Office at 32 Bloomsbury St, London, WC1B 3QJ
Hours of Work: Minimum 40 hours a week, 10-6 daily
Type of Contract: Full time role following 3-month probationary period

 

Salary: £27,000+ per annum dependant on experience
Salary Review: Annually based on company & job role growth
Holiday Entitlement: 28 days pa (including bank holidays)
Notice Period: 2 Months
Start Date: Flexible – Immediate
Closing Date: Friday 17th December 2021

 

Red Entertainment are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to work on their continually growing portfolio of UK & international touring productions and lead the company’s marketing strategy as we move into our next exciting phase development.

Red has established itself as one of the UK’s leading producers of theatre for the one/two-night sector currently focusing on music, comedy, plays, pantomime & children’s work.

Red Entertainment prides itself on maintaining excellent, communication with our diverse range of venues, of which there are typically 200+/year and Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining client relationships. The company’s team work closely together on the creative process and we value input from all members of the team to maintain our high standards. It is important that everyone involved has a passion for the shows and media we create.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager will develop and oversee the smooth delivery of the company’s marketing and audience communication strategy

  • Devise a dynamic and cost-effective marketing plan & strategy to further Red Entertainment’s reach in conjunction with the venues we supply to.
  • Build & Maintain relationships with venues to assist RED and Venue audience reach capability.
  • Manage the RED in house marketing team comprising of Marketing Assistant and Social Media Manager.
  • Manage marketing budgets ensuring value for money.
  • Agree & record venue marketing contras.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all marketing activity.
  • Engage and manage external agencies/suppliers where required.
  • Provide input & feedback towards new designs from RED’s team of graphic designers.
  • Use audience data analysis to evaluate campaigns and feed into future planning.
  • Create marketing assets when and if required for use by press, social media, venues and in-house.

 

Person Specification

Experience & Skills

ESSENTIAL

  • At least 2 years marketing experience, within the entertainment or theatre industry
  • Knowledge of UK regional theatre
  • Experience placing Social Media Ad campaigns
  • Knowledge of ADOBE Photoshop
  • Excellent writing, proof reading, spelling and communication skills
  • A keen interest and active participation in social media
  • Ability to manage multiple products and deadlines effectively
  • Highly skilled with Spreadsheets and MS Office skills
  • Highly efficient and organised

 

Preferred

  • At least 3 years experience in a theatrical marketing environment
  • Experience working with marketing departments of UK Regional theatres
  • Considerable experience with various types of Facebook & Google Advert campaigns
  • Advanced knowledge with Photoshop
  • Ability to construct and think of new innovative ideas to approach new audiences
  • Experience collaborating with Graphic Designers
  • Experience in PR and/or working with PR companies
  • Experience working with WordPress and/or other website design platforms
